  • Served in a strategic public relations role focused on marketing for the parks and recreation department while acting as the city’s social media/video production manager
  • Transformed the city’s digital library. Produced videos and shot photos internally; and headed the creative process when partnering with contractors on larger projects. Seven videos had more than 50,000 unique views, the most garnering over 115,000 plays
  • Directed “Focus Westerville”, a 30-minute public access program, before expanding the show into a 24/7 live streaming and VOD platform, www.westerville.org/tv
  • Oversaw Westerville’s social media presence, branding and creative content across 12 accounts among Instagram, Nextdoor, Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook
  • Tracked and interpreted social analytics and crafted listening queries for key audiences and campaigns, which translated into meaningful reporting and digital strategies
  • Led the design project to build a new Parks and Recreation website, streamlining 300 webpages to less than 50, resulting in increased traffic and easier user navigation
  • Supported the development of in-house and local publications, including the bi-monthly Westerville Community Recreation Guide with stories, imagery and copy editing
  • Wrote, executed and measured marketing plans for the parks and recreation department including pass sales, special events and programs
